Scilla

Yes, I know she has ears. Scilla is the last Alpine at Hammock Haven Farm and she is truly personality on hooves. Not only that she milks.  She is the top producer in the herd, topping out at over two gallons a day. She milked over 3400lbs in 2016 in 278 days and just look at that teat placement!

She received an "Excellent (E)" in Dairy Strength and Body Capacity on her 2017 appraisal, as well as E's in Head, and Rump. To top it all off, she was given a Superior Genetics (SG) designation. There's a reason we keep our "Silly Girl" around.

We have bred her to Henning for experimental kids this year. We are looking to improve legs and feet and to get an excellent mammary with Scilla's will to milk.
